That's the whole list
Five lines. If a charge isn't on the receipt, we don't charge it.
Free to look
There is no fee to apply, and checking your rate doesn't commit you to anything.
Free to leave early
Interest accrues on what you still owe. Pay ahead and your total cost goes down, with no penalty.
Shown before you sign
Your offer lists your APR, any origination fee, your monthly payment, and the total you'll repay.
What decides your rate
Your APR lands somewhere between 5.99% and 35.99%. These are the things we look at.
Your credit history
How you've handled credit before, including on-time payments and how much of your available credit you use. See how to improve your credit score quickly.
Income and existing debts
What comes in each month compared with what already goes out to other lenders.
Amount and term
How much you borrow and how long you take to repay it. A shorter term means less interest overall.
Your state
Loans aren't available in every state, and amounts and fees vary by state.
Representative example: a $2,500 loan at 24.99% APR repaid over 12 months has 12 monthly payments of $237.60. Total repaid is $2,851.18, of which $351.18 is interest. Your rate and terms may differ.

Common questions
Is my rate fixed?
Yes. Your APR is set when you sign and does not change, so every monthly payment is the same amount. Our guide to fixed-rate personal loans shows what is inside each payment.
What is the difference between APR and interest rate?
APR is the yearly cost of a loan including interest and required fees. It lets you compare two offers on equal terms, whatever their length.
When is the origination fee charged?
If your loan has an origination fee, it is taken out of the loan amount before the money is sent to you. It ranges from 0% to 5% and is shown in your offer before you sign.
Does checking my rate affect my credit score?
No. Checking your rate uses a soft credit inquiry. A hard inquiry may be made only if you accept a loan offer.
